Wild Horse Workshops

Educational Adventures for Photographers, Horse and Nature Lovers

In 1971 Congress declared wild horses to be “living symbols of the historic and pioneer spirit of the West”. These wild horse photography workshops provide an educational opportunity to learn about the behavior and social dynamics of wild horses and to observe and photograph these free-spirited animals in their natural environment. Photo instruction in the field as needed. If you are not a photographer, feel free to take field notes, sketch, or simply enjoy the horses, wildlife, and scenery. Join award-winning equine photographer and author, Lynne Pomeranz, for an unforgettable journey into the natural habitat of America’s wild horses. Experience all the beauty, serenity, and nobility of these last remaining symbols of the American West. Trailing the spirited stallions and their harems is a unique experience!
*Please note: for the remainder of 2019 workshops will only be held at Shadowlands Ranch: mustangs on The Santa Fe Trail in New Mexico where there are no stallions or
foals.
